Ol Pejeta-Naivasha- Masai Mara
OL PEJETA – LAKE NAIVASHA – MASAI MARA
A private conservation, a boat safari combined with a walking safari, and a world famous national park all thrown into one trip! Ol Pejeta is famous for its rhinos, and you' re sure to see many. You will go on a boat safari in Lake Naivasha, getting close to hippos and seeing fishing eagles, pelicans , and an
abundance of water birds . You'll then head out on a short walking safari observing giraffes, zebras, and gazelle on Crescent Island, where 'Out of Africa' was filmed. The Masai Mara gives you the big cats - cheetah, lions, and leopards, as well as elephants , zebras , gazelle, antelope, buffaloes , and a plethora of other animals and birds .
The Southern Sector
THE SOUTHERN SECTOR
Elephant country, and very much more! Amboseli is famous for its large herds of elephants, and ver y of ten they come out in their hundreds . Head up Lookout Hill and soak in a fantastic 360 degree view of the marshlands, fauna, and flora from the highest spot of the park. Snow-capped Mount Kilimanjaro can be observed on a clear day from the comfort of your lodge or while on a morning safari. Tsavo East National Park is famous for its 'Red Elephants', named for the red coloring they get from rolling in the the red sand. Some of the largest elephants and the longest tusked elephants in the country can be seen here in this huge park. Tsavo East always springs surprises , and has never disappointed us with their lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, hippos, buffalo, antelope,'red elephants' , and an abundance of birds.
THE MASAI MARA
There is so much to see in the Masai Mara that you will never get bored spending seven days there. You will travel to many corners of the park and to remote areas to observe cheetahs , lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, giraffes, crocodiles, buffaloes, hyenas, and dozens of other animals and birds. You will get to sample two different camps, both luxurious and comfortable in their own way. With one on the open plains, and one next to the river with a great view, you'll get the best of both worlds. With seven days in the Mara, you will have a greater chance of seeing the Big Five: elephant, lion, leopard. buffalo, and rhino.
